Amish Craftmanship

Noah has since left the region but he and the current owners worked together to realize the homeowners' custom design. It is comprised of hundreds of locally harvested, kiln-dried, 8-inch "D" shaped pine logs. The corners are joined together in the traditional notch and pass method and the porches are supported by 48-inch frost piers to protect against frost heaving. The 10-foot by 16-foot storage shed behind the house was also constructed with traditional Amish craftsmanship.
